The Third Annual Lobster Boil, November 2nd, 2013

The third annual Lobster Boil was a big success. About 40-50 members and guests enjoyed eating lobsters from New England shipped to Savannah through Driftaway Café where Kirk Blaine is the chef. The event was hosted at Larry Stuber’s Tybee home. Ellen and Lew Tate, Linda and Cecil Barnes, Emily and Peter Foley and J.T. Applewhite expertly prepared the lobster and buffet. Don Stuber helped his brother haul forty-five chairs and five tables from First to Tybee Island. Larry Stuber headed up the dinner groups this year.

Linda Barnes and Carol Booker dig in to the lobster and reach for a lot of paper towels.

Phyllis and Gay Mayfield have a lot on their plates!

Cecil Barnes rips into his lobster—messy but good!

Mary Miller has her hands full!

Paul Weller has his lobster bib on and is ready to dig in.

Everyone pauses to hear a tribute to Paul Weller and Dottie for attending all three annual Lobster Boils

Our pastor, Stephen Williams, reads a congratulatory card signed by many folks in honor of Paul Weller. Larry Stuber looks on.
