The Mission of the
First Presbyterian Church in Savannah
The Life of the church is the response of faith and obedience to the call of God in Christ.
Gathered, we worship and sing, study and pray.
We enjoy fellowship together.
Forgiven by God, we learn to forgive other people.
Sent forth, we serve as leaven, salt and light to be agents of God's love
in Savannah and the larger world.

Dinner will be served at 6pm, with the informative program following our meal, from 6:45 – 7:30 p.m.
“Filled with strange and mysterious environments, the Georgia coast is not only a place of great natural beauty.
It is the product of five thousand years of human history—Native Americans, Spanish missionaries, rice planters, the early Gullah, lumbermen, wealthy northern industrialists, and river engineers.
The stories created by each of those communities shape the way we see the natural environment today. It is a reminder that, in developing a vision for conserving our coast, nature and history do not stand apart but must go hand in hand.”
